Welcome to the third installment of Press Box Sport's MLB Power Rankings. There have been a few changes since last week. The biggest surprise from this weekend had to be free agent acquisitions. Not necessarily that they got done, but to who they went to. Biggest jump this week was for the Rockies however, I didn't realize how low I had them - don't worry I fixed that.

Below are our power rankings for all 30 teams with a little bit of info on some of the top 10 or so teams as well as my thoughts on one other team - you'll see below. These rankings will be done each week and are based on standings, win/loss record, star power, how they played that week, and just a little bit of bias...

1. Dodgers (1) - I truly think this is the best team in baseball right now, but for some reason I still don't see them winning it all. Maybe the really smart guys over at The Degenerates Playbook can help me out with who they think will win it all..

2. Astros (2) - Big should be entertaining series against the Brewers this week - albeit only two games. Should be a good one!

3. Twins (3)- Can't wait to see these guys play the Yankees or Astros in the Divisional Round of the playoffs. I am now a believer of these guys, but still think Houston is the team to beat in the AL.

4. Yankees (4)- How'd that helmet taste Gardner..?

5. Cubs (7) - Way to bounce back after the series sweep in St. Louis to sweep them at home this weekend. Plus the addition of Kimbrel gives them a few bumps up the list, even if it means that Zobrist is most likely not coming back. Very interesting move to add Carlos Gonzalez - taking away innings from Almora most likely, but he definitely had a great first game!

6. Brewers (5)- Tough first start back for Jimmy Nelson, but I still think that he gives this team huge help by being back. Great article in USA Today this morning about how people could be sleeping on these guys. Mike Moustakas has been on a tear recently which now means that the Brewers have both number 1 and number 5 players on the NL home run list. And for any possible haters out there, here's a great interview of Yelich talking about Moose's success.

7. Rays (6) - Its reported that this team barely missed out on Kimbrel. The consensus is that they dodged a bullet. Not because Kimbrel won't help the Cubs at all this season - jury is still out on this one - but because their bullpen is fine and what they really need is another bat. Especially with Number 8 right behind them.

8. Red Sox (8) - I think it's safe to say that Chris Sale is back..

9. Phillies (9) - Losing out on Andrew McCutchen for the rest of the season is definitely going to hurt. No big free agent signing, but the trade for Jay Bruce should certainly help.

10. Braves (10) - It's going to be fun to watch this team now with Keuchel in a pretty entertaining NL East.

11. Rockies (22) 12. Cardinals (11)

13. Athletics (12)

14. Padres (13)

15. Diamondbacks (14)

16. Reds (15)

17. Pirates (16)

18. White Sox (17)- There is not much more to say except Lucas Giolito..

19. Rangers (18)

20. Indians (19)

21. Angles (20)

22. Mets (21)

23. Nationals (23)

24. Blue Jays (24)

25. Mariners (25)

26. Giants (26)

27. Tigers (27)

28. Marlins (28)

29. Royals (29)

30. Orioles (30) See you next week!
