New Betting Odds Suggest LeBron Could Have a New Team Next Season

Well, the headline kind of lied considering the Lakers are the heavy odds-on favorites to have LeBron on their team at the start of next season. -600 equates to a 85% chance to put it in simpler terms. But that fact that these are posted is interesting.

This is probably coming off the report from our King Stephen A. Smith saying Lakers owner Jeanie Buss is being pressured by close peers of hers to trade LeBron. And last night it was also reported that LeBron's #1 choice for the Lakers head coaching position, Ty Lue, has decided to move on from the job after a lowball offer from the Lakers. And not to mention LeBron recently sharing his first public thoughts on not being too happy with Magic Johnson abruptly stepping down as President of Basketball Ops last month.

As a LeBron fan, I am at the point where I kind of hope they trade him. They have had a tumultuous offseason so far and they are looking like a disaster. I know many of you will say this is all LeBron's fault, well the Lakers have been a disaster for about five years running now so this has been long before him. Has he helped? Probably not. But you won't find me talking about that.

I would love to see him come to the Bulls for many reasons beyond being a Bulls fan and a LeBron fan. To see all of my peers on twitter who are Bulls fans, who have hated on LeBron for years now, have to cheer for a LeBron Bulls team WOULD BE AMAZING. You finally would see it our way....

Finally, the bet is proposed as "where will LBJ play Game 1 of the 2019-2020 NBA Season?" and not WHO will LeBron be playing for. So hypothetically, if LeBron plays FOR the Lakers AGAINST the Knicks in MSG do we win the bet? We may have found a loophole in the game.
