Some people, when picking games, would rather side with the good defense. Defending the three is also huge because we have seen many times when an underdog gets hot from deep and that leads to an upset...

I have been and always will be a huge fan of using KenPom when handicapping College Basketball, it's an absolute must have. Since KenPom began in 2002, 16 of the last 17 teams to win it all have ranked in both the top 20 in both defense and offense efficiency. There are 7 teams that follow that criteria as of today.
