Tiger is BACK

What a moment.

I will be the first one to admit, I would not call myself a "Tiger Guy". I don't hate him, never have, certainly no ill will towards him but just never rooted for him as much as most do.

As Tiger began to make his comeback last season after returning from his back surgery, I was convinced he would never make it back to form. Every week all I would hear was, "this is his week." And time and time again he would come up short. I then began to start rooting against Tiger because I was annoyed with everyone thinking he was going to win every single week. I claimed many, many times that Tiger would never be back, maybe win a few tournaments here and there but certainly not win any majors. Just ask stat guy Nick, most times he was on the receiving end of my takes while he was rooting Tiger on.

But I am here to own up to what I said and say that I was wrong about Tiger. He certainly IS BACK now. Winning a major, The Masters nonetheless, is a huge feat and quite frankly I think it is going to mean big things moving forward for Tiger. Last year we saw Tiger come close in so many tournaments and ultimately come up short. Now that he has won his 15th major and has the weight lifted off his shoulders he may just go on another tear. Think something along the lines of, "Oh yeah this is what this feels like again, I'm back."

So, congrats to all you Tiger fans and Tiger himself.
